Professional Gift Products For Executive Clients

While producing your own gifts from scratch is noble and possibly more valued by the recipient than the presents purchased from a store, the act is not suitable in all circumstances. Personal handmade presents may work for your parents, siblings, friends, special someone, or even your beloved coworkers. But they are too personal if given as company gifts. They are also too personal if given by a business to its client partners. In addition, your loved ones will appreciate the gifts because of your hard work, but in business, they might see your efforts, however admirable, as insults.

Don’t take their lack of gratitude personal, however. In business, nothing is personal. The gift giving act might be a normal practice in the industry, but its underlying objective is still all about business. Your friends and family might love to receive a handkerchief that you personally sewed for them, but don’t anticipate the same amount of enthusiasm from your company’s workers, clients, and partners.

Rather than give personal handmade gifts, it is better to buy commercial gifts for everyone connected to you through business. Fortunately, you have lots of options in purchasing commercial gifts. You can buy them in retail stores or from executive gift suppliers if you are ordering in bulk. Even if the gift is a novelty item, people would still generally like it for what it is.

It’s inappropriate to give personal offers in business, but it doesn’t mean you can’t customize a commercial gift. You can have every gift item engraved with your staff members’ names. A fountain pen with the names of each staff member engraved or a desk memo pad printed with their names would do. Those tokens are not inappropriately personal, but personal enough to let them know they are really valued in the company.

With clients, however, it is more difficult to have their names printed on the items. You can still personalize the gifts, but not with their names. Instead, have the corporate name and logo printed so the tokens can double as a brand awareness and marketing tool for the business. And to save on costs, it is best to purchase wholesale from a corporate gifts supplier.
